Give your client access

Invite your client to follow a study's responses and highlights, with participants shown as codes only.

You can let your client watch responses and highlights as they come in. Clients get a read-only view of the studies you choose, and they see participants by code only.

Invite your client

You need to be an owner to do this.

  1. In the sidebar, click Settings, then the Team tab.
  2. Under Invite someone, type your client's Email and, if you like, their Name.
  3. Choose the role Client.
  4. Under Studies they can see, tick the studies for this client.
  5. Click Send the invitation.

Your client gets an email with an Accept the invitation button. The link works for 7 days. They create an account, or sign in if they already have one. See Invite your team.

What your client sees

  • Home: their studies and the latest responses.
  • Studies: the list of their studies.
  • Overview of each study: the status, how many participants are taking part, the number of responses and tasks, the languages and the fieldwork dates.
  • Responses: every entry with its videos, photos, voice notes and answers. They can filter by task, day, group, content type, tag and participant code. They can play videos and download a single video with its Download link.
  • Highlights: the moments your team marked, with the notes and tags, and the name of the person who made each one.

What your client does not see

  • Participants' names, email addresses or phone numbers. Clients see codes such as P001, even when the study shows first names to your team.
  • The Tasks, Participants, Consent, Translations, Messages and Downloads tabs.
  • Any settings.

Clients cannot add tags or highlights, use Export CSV or Download files, or message participants.

Before you share

  • Notes and tags on highlights are visible to your client. Write them with that in mind.
  • Answers from test participants are marked Test. Your client can hide them with the Test answers filter in Responses.
  • Participants may say or write their name in an answer. Check that your consent form covers sharing with the client. The standard wording has a separate box for sharing clips with the client. See Consent form.

Tip: Highlights are the quickest way to show a client the key moments. See Highlights.

Change or end access

To give your client another study, or take one away:

  1. Go to Settings, Team.
  2. Click Change next to your client.
  3. Tick or untick studies, then click Save.

To end their access, click Change, then Remove from the team. Their account stays, in case they work with other agencies on Zolensa.

Two-factor sign-in is optional for clients. Their Home page suggests turning it on.
