Find your way around
The menu, the Home page and the pages of a study, and what each role sees.
This article shows you where things are in Zolensa, so you can move quickly between your studies and their responses.
The menu
The dark menu on the left is on every page. From top to bottom:
- Your workspace. It shows the workspace name and your role in it, such as Owner or Researcher. If you belong to more than one workspace, click it and choose another one under Switch workspace. You then see that workspace's studies.
- Home. What is happening across your studies now.
- Studies. All the studies you can see. Live studies are listed under it with a red recording dot, so you can open them in one click.
- Settings. Only for owners. It has the tabs Team, Email, AI and Billing.
- Admin. Only for Zolensa staff.
- Help center. Opens these articles in a new tab.
- Your name. Click it for Change password and Sign out.
On a phone, the menu is hidden. Tap Menu at the top to open it and Close to hide it again.
Home
Home starts with four numbers:
- studies live
- people taking part now
- responses in the last 7 days
- unread messages
Below them, Studies lists your studies with their status, how many people are taking part out of those invited, and responses this week. A link shows new messages when there are any. Latest responses shows the newest responses. Click one to open it in the study's responses.
Owners and researchers see a New study button. If you have no studies yet, Home shows the four steps to set up your first one.
If two-factor sign-in is off for your account, Home shows "Two-factor sign-in is off." with a Set up two-factor sign-in button. See Sign in and two-factor sign-in.
The Studies page
The Studies page lists each study with its status, participants, responses, fieldwork dates and languages. Owners see every study in the workspace. Everyone else sees only the studies they have been added to.
Inside a study
Every page of a study has the same header. It shows the study name, its status, and the client name if you entered one. Owners and researchers also see an Edit study details button.
Under the header are the tabs. Which tabs you see depends on your role on that study:
- Overview: everyone. Owners and researchers see the study status, the set-up checklist and the participant groups here.
- Tasks and Participants: owners, researchers and moderators.
- Consent and Translations: owners and researchers.
- Responses and Highlights: everyone, including clients.
- Messages and Downloads: owners, researchers and moderators.
Responses shows how many responses there are. Messages shows how many are unread.
See Roles for what each role can do.
Notices at the top
During a free trial, a bar at the top of each page shows how many days are left. It also tells you when a trial has ended or a payment did not go through. Owners see a Plans and billing link in it. See Plans and billing.
