The Home dashboard
What the numbers, charts and lists on Home mean, and how to filter them by study and period.
Home shows how your studies are going. It covers the studies you can see: owners see every study in the workspace, everyone else sees the studies they have been added to.
If you have no studies yet, Home shows the steps to set up your first one instead. See Create a study.
Choose a study and a period
At the top of the dashboard:
- Use the study list to show All studies or one study.
- Click Last 7 days, Last 30 days or Last 90 days. Home starts with the last 30 days.
Test participants are not counted anywhere on the dashboard. See Test participants. Days follow the time zone of your browser. The note next to the filter shows which time zone is used.
The six key numbers
- Responses: tasks sent by participants in the period.
- Participants who answered: how many people sent at least one response in the period.
- Tasks done on time: of the tasks that have already closed in running studies, the share that participants sent before they closed. Running studies are live or paused studies.
- Video and voice: minutes of video and voice notes received in the period, with the number of clips and photos.
- Taking part now: participants who joined a running study, with the number of live and paused studies.
- Unread messages: messages from participants that nobody on the team has read yet. With one study chosen, click it to open that study's unread messages.
Responses and Participants who answered also show the change against the period before, for example "+12% vs the 30 days before". If there was nothing in the period before, you see "new this period".
Responses per day
One bar for each day of the period. Hover over a bar to see the day and the number of responses. To read the numbers as a list, click Show as a table.
From invitation to answers
How far participants in running studies have come, from Added to Invited, Joined the study, Sent an answer and Answered in the last 7 days. Each step shows the number and the share of everyone added. If people stopped taking part, a line below says how many withdrew.
When participants answer
The bars show the hour of the day when responses come in, in each participant's own local time. Below them you see the days of the week. A line below names the busiest day and hour. Reminders sent just before that time usually get the most answers. See Reminders.
What they send
How many videos, photos, written answers, choices and ratings, and voice notes came in during the period. Screen recordings, journey maps and interview recordings are listed when there are any.
Running studies
A table with one row for each live or paused study:
- Taking part: participants who have joined and started.
- Tasks done on time: the share of closed tasks that were sent on time.
- Behind: participants who missed a task in the last 7 days.
- Checks: participants to look at, if participant checks are on for the study. Click the number to see them. See Participant checks.
- Open now: tasks that participants can do right now.
- Responses: responses in the period.
- Last 14 days: a small line of responses per day.
- Last answer: when the latest response came in.
Who needs a nudge
Participants who missed a task in the last 7 days, with the most missed first. Each line shows how many tasks they missed and did, and when they last answered. Click Message to write to them. Owners, researchers and moderators see this button. See Messages and follow-ups.
Research output
What your team made from the answers in the period: recordings transcribed, photos and screens read, highlights, AI analyses, themes accepted, reels made, interviews held and messages from participants.
Coming up
The next planned interviews and group discussions, with the participant or the number of people, the time and the length. Click one to open it. See Interviews and group discussions.
Below the dashboard, Studies lists your studies and Latest responses shows the newest responses. See also Find your way around.
